This was the top of the Cube line at the time, a very full-featured modeling amp that I bought new from Guitar Center for $399, a real bargain. I don't use all the available features but the default mode models the Roland Jazz Chorus and offers faithful tone with plenty of control. The only thing I would wish for is a five-section EQ. It has enough power for a rock gig but compact enough to carry in one hand. It's got a lot of on-board toys like a looper, a "lead" preset, and a tuner, and the optional pedal can control a lot of the features on the fly. I am in the process of building my own pedal and finding out that even if you build it yourself, you still end up spending a lot of money on parts at retail.
