I was shopping for an amp to go with the Tele and Lance pointed me towards this one. It was being sold by a minister who also played and was an amp tech on the side. He had recapped it and done a blackface mod. There was also a repair on a corner of the cabinet that was very well done, though a hard-core collector might object. That is not me--I was looking strictly for a gigging amp. The reverend packed this thing for shipping like it was going to the moon and it arrived in pristine shape, even with the tubes pulled out and wrapped separately and marked for which sockets to replace them in.
This amp is a real workhorse and served me well on my gigs with Piece by Piece over two years.
