This is courtyard that is rumored to have inspired Shakespeare's setting for Romeo and Juliet. You can pay extra to up to stand on "Juliet's balcony." However, there is no record that this is the place Shakespeare had in mind, and the balcony wasn't built until the early 1900s.

So this whole attraction is really three layers of fiction.
